Exigency Plan Family Survey
HCPS Families:

As you know, in October we shortened the instructional day by one hour in order to allow teachers much-needed planning and collaboration time. As we said we would, we are now evaluating the effectiveness of this revised schedule.

Currently, the shortened instructional day is set to end December 17, 2021, and we are considering whether or not it is beneficial to keep the shortened instructional day for a longer period of time, perhaps through the rest of this school year. In making this decision, we are seeking input from our stakeholders. In addition to surveying building leadership, teachers, and students, we want to hear your thoughts.

Please use the form linked below to share with us the benefits and/or challenges the shortened instructional day has brought to your family and student(s), as well as any other information you believe is important for us to consider. We value your partnership as we continue to find solutions that bring the most benefit to all members of our school community.
