SCSD To Return to In-Person Learning

The Syracuse City School District is returning to in-person learning at all but five schools tomorrow, Tuesday January 4, 2022.  Due to a shortage of essential staff members at Clary, Dr. Weeks, Ed Smith, Frazer and Seymour those schools will be remote but all other Syracuse City School District schools will be in-person.

Each of the five schools that are going remote have essential staff members who are out and the district has been unable to successfully find substitutes to replace them.  Each of our other schools will be staffed and ready for our students tomorrow.

Students at those schools that are remote will be provided with the necessary devices and equipment for online learning.  Your respective principals and teachers will be reaching out to you with more information.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work together through this pandemic.  We have been presented with challenges almost daily and yet by working together we have been successful at meeting each of them.
