We want to alert you to an important update to our calendar for November. Currently, Friday November 12th, (the day after the Veteran’s Day holiday), is a regular school day.
In this year where we have struggled to get substitutes to cover classrooms, cafeterias and school buses, we are concerned that we will be unable to operate the district in a safe and effective way on this day.
In order to allow sufficient time for our families to plan, we are announcing that schools and offices will be closed on Friday, November 12th.
We recognize that the first couple months of the year have been challenging on many levels. We hope that our staff and our families can use this extended break as a time to recharge and refresh.
